Our client’s global market access team was looking for a consultancy that could support them with evidence generation to support a health technology assessment (HTA) submission.

SRS HEOR then conducted a series of systematic literature reviews (SLRs) to identify literature relating to clinical, safety, economic, and utility data in patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) and advanced systemic mastocytosis (AdvSM).

The Outcome:

SRS HEOR worked in a coordinated way to ensure our client was equipped with a complete evidence package to support their HTA submissions.

Cost-utility Analysis used to Evaluate Treatments for Ulcerative Colitis/ Crohn’s Disease

Project details:

SRS HEOR conducted a targeted literature review to identify cost-utility analysis publications for treatments used in Ulcerative Colitis (UC) and Crohn’s Disease (CD) in Europe.

SRS HEOR conducted searches in two major databases. This review identified several model structures for the cost-utility analysis of UC/CD population alongside various time horizons.

The Outcome:

The research abstract is accepted, and a poster will be presented at the 2023 International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) European Congress.

 Economic Evaluations of Pharmacological Interventions for Lupus Population

Project details:

SRS HEOR conducted a targeted literature review to assess economic modelling approaches utilized in published economic evaluations of pharmacological interventions for lupus nephritis (LN)/ systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).

SRS HEOR conducted searches in two major databases. This review reveals a discrepancy in economic evaluations, with more studies focused on SLE compared to LN. Greater attention is needed in evaluating the economic aspects of LN care.

The research abstract is accepted, and a poster will be presented at the 2023 International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) European Congress.

 Targeted Literature Review for Burden of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

Project details:

SRS HEOR conducted a targeted literature review to determine epidemiology, clinical burden, humanistic burden, and economic burden in the United States.

SRS HEOR conducted searches in two major databases. This review demonstrates an alarming increase in CLL incidence, as well as improved survival rates. This growing tendency, however, comes at a huge financial cost to both patients and healthcare systems.

ATTR amyloidosis with cardiomyopathy: collected evidence surrounding efficacy and effectiveness of treatments

• Our client wanted to conduct a systematic literature review for efficacy and effectiveness of treatments in ATTR amyloidosis with cardiomyopathy
• A search strategy was developed using Embase.com to access the Embase and Medline databases. This led to the identification of the most relevant papers from around 650 articles by a two-step review and screening process. The final deliverable was a PPT of the findings of this review.

Dr. Invivo 4D Bioprinter: Market Assessment Plan for South-East Asia

• Our client wanted an in-depth market assessment plan for South-East Asia before launching the medical device product into the market.
• A detailed study related to prevalence details, market size and forecast was conducted. Also, product launch strategies were proposed in order to launch the product in the market.
• The final deliverable was a word document for market insights and an excel file for market size and forecast.

Fosfomycin combination therapy: collected clinical evidence

• Our strategy team wanted to identify the synergistic effect of Fosfomycin combination therapy in bacterial infections
• A search strategy was developed using Embase.com to access Embase and Medline database. This led to identification of the most relevant papers from around 3500 articles by two review screening process. The final deliverable was a PPT of findings of this review.

Market Access Study for a Rare Disease Drug for South-East Asia

• Our client wanted to know the commercial feasibility of launching a rare disease drug in South-East Asian market.
• A detailed study related to opportunity assessments was carried out. Market size and forecast was determined. This led to the identification of market launch strategies for that market.
